I'm to the point of selling off my more expensive pedals and looking to replace them with a low cost alternative. I've seen a few clones state they are in fact duplicate circuits but no one mentions the tone control. It is neutral at 12 and adds either bass or treble as you adjust the tone.

Do you know of any other makers that have a compressor with this feature?

Many thanks!

Donner's Ultimate Comp compressor is a copy of the Yellow comp, which is a copy of the Diamond. And yes, tone is neutral at 12. There is also a bright switch if you want a little more jangle. I'm not sure if the Diamond has that.

Thanks you guys!! I greatly appreciate your help. I'm going to try each from Amazon.

I'll post back later and let you know which I selected.

Greetings from Sunny New Jersey
The Mooer Yellow Comp is one of my favorites. I'd still be using it, but I like the Mimosa Jr. kit from Build Your Own Clone just a little bit more. The Mimosa is a Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer clone with blend knob. Similar type of gentle compression as the Diamond Compressor.
I didn't know the Donner version of the Diamond Comp had a bright switch. Not sure if it really needs it since the tilt EQ works quite well. Would like to hear your thoughts when you have a chance to try it out.

I don’t believe the Donner is a Diamond clone.
I'm just repeating what I've read, but I don't know enough about the circuit to really know what I'm talking about, so who knows. It is often described that way though. Personally, I find it to be a low noise compressor for people who don't normally like stompbox compressors, which is how I've seen the Diamond described. I'll be curious to hear OPs comparison though.
