    Hi all,

I'm in search of someone who can help me with a couple of project bodies... In the past, I would simply call up Tommy at USACG who would always deliver the goods, but alas! he has moved on.

I have a pretty good stash of Ohio black walnut, some of it with gorgeous crotch figuring, and a nice slab of curly oak. The walnut will be coming out of the kiln next month, and the oak has already been kiln-dried. What I want are at least two bodies, one thinline Tele & one Jazzmaster, that would be constructed of five wood layers (figured walnut-curly oak-walnut-curly oak-figured walnut) and chambered. Not surprisingly, I am thinking of oil-based finishes for these axes. There would be plenty of extra wood if the builder were interested in being partially compensated with some of it.

Any of you killer builders have the time and the inclination? If so, it would be great to hear about/see some of your work on similar projects!

    Thanks a bunch,
    Rick

Try Dan at Best Guitar Parts.. http://www.bestguitarparts.com Dan WAS at USACG before Kevin divested himself of the higher priced employees.. and many of the other former USACG employees are there too.. I'm betting he will accommodate you..

I am now using them, and see no difference other than the building, the phone number and the Company name..
