The only delay I've had on my board is a Caline Drifter Seven Delays. It does everything I need. I'm on the fence about recommending it at the moment, however, as two other Caline pedals I acquired (new) during the same purchase have inexplicably gone wonky.

I couldn't say. Mine didn't come with a manual I could make much sense out of...and I'm not much of a tap-dancer. When I was a dancer, I needed a girl in hand to help me keep my feet under me!

I tried every way to not like my new Boss DD-200, but in the end it won me over. With a little playing around it may be able to do anything?
They say analog dry... I believe it. It is sorta’ super.
Otherwise, I’d recommend a Caroline Kilobyte for sheer fun.

JHS Lucky Cat delay. This is digital but it has a “clear” mode and “tape” mode depending on if you want the digital style repeats or analog ones. It also has a darken knob to make the repeats more lofi and a tap tempo.

I recently dumped delays and with a echo pedal.
Easier, and that is really all I needed. I dont
    need much.

I eventually (September last year) did end up with a Belle Epoch Deluxe - absolutely love it. The delay and the echoplex pre in it are killer. I have it running through my effects loop of the California Tweed.

Boss DD-200. It sounds great, easy to use, and has a ton of features.

My previous pedal was a MIJ Ibanez ADL. I won’t comment on how it compares to the AD9. I’ve replaced it with the Ibanez Mini-Delay and aside from the mini-pots, really like it. It can run faster than the ADL, and is far more versatile. I’m not a huge user, but it’s covering all my wants.
