Looking for a bridge

    I'm building a parts caster and the body that I have is routed for hum buckers. I'm wanting to put a single coil in the bridge but single coil bridges aren't wide enough for to cover the route. Does someone make a bridge that will cover the humbucker route?

    They have bridges that are two pieces.

    One is a tele half bridge and the other is an adapter plate (pickup ring) that holds a single coil tele bridge.

    I don’t know if the holes would line up with what you already have though.

    But that isn’t a huge deal.

    So it's basically a pickup ring? I am actually trying to avoid the pickup ring look. I was hoping that it would be more of a Hot Rod look.

    You can use your existing bridge and put the single coil pick up in a Humbucker cover. You just need to use a cover that matches the pole spacing....2-1/16" is pretty common...I have done it several times. I have a single coil pu in a P90 cover....works great

    That's a Gotoh brand.

    Make sure you get the correct bridge for the body you have. Some modern bodies are drilled for string-through differently than older Tele bodies.
