    Everything changes wayyyy quicker now........
I just read that Ford plan to build more electric powered vehicles than combustion powered......by 2022 !!
    In 2/3 years time !
Hybrid vehicles are already considered old fashioned by many car makers.
I have collegeues on waiting lists for full electric vehicles atm.
In 2030 combustion engines will be out here , it will be illegal ............it's just a blink of an eye away....

Calm down: I was referring to 6 years ago when chip and pin was all the rage, not 2007, which seems like a different century

My favorite "car" site just went through this memory lane, hot tub time machine traveling pants saga thread...thing.

All I can say is, keep looking forward and don't dwell in the past.

"mp3 player question" is one of the topics. Too bad you can't read any of the threads. (edit: you can read the posts in the main telecaster forum, but I haven't seen a pic that shows yet)

I'm one of the few one here that still uses an mp3 player. Don't know if anyone else does.

    Actually I don't think I even had one in 2007 because I didn't have that many mp3s.

Cash still serves a purpose and always will. You don't need bitcoin or cryptocurrency to conduct private commerce when you still have cash.

Who said anything about bitcoin. Stand in line at the grocery store and observe how many people pay with cash. Banks in some areas are incentivizing merchants to go cashless. Heck, few people even right checks anymore. I have no doubt that cash will be around for a while but it’s use is diminishing. More and more people use plastic or the “wallet” app on their phone. The same thing is happening with tickets to games or concert. Scanning the bar code on your phone is more efficient and secure.

Yeah, a debit card without so-called overdraft protection works great. Keeps me out of trouble because I can only spend it if I have it.

When cash is phased out they will probably hunt for virgin brides again.
Whether they can find any is another thing.
