Lonely days, lonely nights, live in Japan. Roy Buchanan's best solo?

Inspired to post this after I replied to a thread earlier about guitar solos. I have always rated this as one of Roy's best, possibly one of his shortest too but just gives a great insight into his feel, touch and tone as well as his undoubted skill. There are obviously a great deal of stunning solos by Roy out there but is there another one which conveys so much in such a short and concise manner? Played live too, no hiding place and he absolutely nails it.

    That tone! :face melts:

Roy was worshipped like a god in Japan. There's probably a Roy Buchanan shrine there, but then there's also a Hello Kitty shinkansen.

From 2:32" to about 3:00" sounded amazing.

Nice to see guitars like Nancy but find it a bit sad they don't get played any more.

Sounded good, but maybe not his 'best solo'. As far as live recordings go, I think much of the stuff on Livestock is still on top for me. Thanks for posting though, haven't heard that one.

    Totally agree.

I think the photo was from an exhibition in the Fullerton Museum in 2008 -10.
