I'm looking for a inexpensive load box for silent recording. What do you suggest?

Two Notes Torpedo Captor X will act as a load box and a cabinet simulator. Suhr Reactive load IR is also a great solution, but a bit pricier and seems to have fewer features compared to the Torpedo.

If you are good with soldering you could build Aiken's reactive load, but you will still need cabinet simulation.

It will work but you will lose the highs.
