Popa Chubby at the Iridium, NYC. Place holds about 100 people. He was phenomenal!

They were tremendous... like you, I follow Billy on Instagram and he does a good job with social media. Seems like a genuine guy. He was dead-on live... just crushed it. Great show, very loud. I was in the last row with my earplugs in and I was still ringing the next morning. Turns out, that was the last show The Cult played live. It was the last stop on the tour.

That tour was great. Saw him at the 930 Club in DC.

Ha-ha, saw the same tour at the Anthem in DC. Peter and his band were phenominal but LZE and Jason Bonham were over the top in trying to out do the ghost of his father. I still have ear damage from their lead singer

I saw the remenants of the Pogues - Cait O'Riordan and Spider with a great band backing them up - the Lost Bayou Ramblers. They were good enough to see on their own. The location was the ever great Black Cat.

He was fantastic! I was ready for some good blues guitar but was surprised that at times he almost sounded like Eddie Van Halen. I knew he was a good player but he was better than I realized.

Very jealous. We waffled on going to a Sept 2019 show here at the SF Opera. It's among the very best venues I've been to, and I really regret not taking it in, but we'd been there a month prior for our 25th anniversary (Cosi Fan Tutte), and it was just money I didn't feel like spending right then. Grr.

Sidebar, great town that Lancaster. When we lived back east, we visited pretty regular (very good friend works for the paper). Last show I saw there was Gary Numan @ the Chameleon in December of 2017. Love that venue too.

Good stuff. Love the Black Cat and have been to more shows there than I can count. Echo & the Bunnymen, Trail of Dead, Bloc Party, Black Angels, American Analog Set. Last show I saw there before we left was Junior Brown and Reverend Horton Heat... December of 2018 or so?

I was also lucky enough to catch the Pogues with Shane & Spider twice, but over at the 9:30... I want to say 2005 and 2007? Shane never missed a single lyric despite swigging a bottle of (fake?) whiskey during each set. Whole band are always on their game.

We went to see Mandolin Orange just after Christmas. They were fantastic. They are know for their acoustic string music, but the was some tasty T-style work as well.

Same here! Had tix for John Fogerty in August in Atlantic City. Then they moved it to October, and that’s when we asked for a refund. It took while, but we got our money back.
