LRB are on high rotation here.
Fortunate enough to have several songwriters capable of crafting hits.
    Cool change my personal favourite.

Yep, I remember them well. I had 2 of their albums back in highschool in the late 70s. Great band, and lots of good memories when I think about their music. My favorite song by them was "Reminiscing."

Big fan, my first concert band, first guitar solo I ever learnt etc

The current debacle over the name is a travesty

Glen shorrock was out of the band for some years, John Farnham ably filled his shoes.
His vocals at 2.40 here are pretty amazing.

Taken from Paul Hogan Show before Crocodile Dundee was a thing..

I liked them in their time... but when my first daughter sang their greatest hits with me in the late 90’s it was super!

Not even close to the same line-up anymore, the original members don't have rights to the name

None of the musicians now performing as Little River Band are original members, nor did they contribute to the success the band had in the 1970s
As from October 2020 the line-up is Wayne Nelson, Rich Herring, Chris Marion, Ryan Ricks and Colin Whinnery – none of whom are Australian

Just a tribute act operating under the name these days

But yes, there were brilliant with well crafted songs and incredible harmonies

I'm sure most people think both are pretty shlocky, but not gonna lie... I loved "Night Owls," and I still listen to "Reminiscing" every so often. Love that melody in the verse (and the little nod to Cole Porter).
