Title says it all. List, from best to less than best, your top 5 favorite amps. If you have played or owned more or less, feel free to list the number you have experience with. Pictures are highly encouraged!

    These are mine.

    1. Trainwreck Rocket
    2. 5f4 Super
    3. 5e5a Pro
    4. Gibson GA 40 LP
    5. 65 Amps London (18 watt Marshall and Vox Ac 15)
    6. Blackface Deluxe Reverb
    7. Silverface Twin

I still have all of the above amps except the Deluxe Reverb. I sometimes wish I had not let it go, but what good does that do? I have a few amps that I've built, owned or played that are not on this list. I would put them on a list of top 5 amps that you did not like, or did not work for you, but that would be another thread, and I want this to be positive rather than negative.

    1. Rockitt Retro 50 ( 68 Plexi clone).

    2. Marshall 2204 (50 watts, early model).

    3. Hiwatt DR 504 (1978, 50 watts).

    4. Early/mid 70s NMV metalface Marshall, I forget the model #.

    5. SF Fender Twin Reverb.

I’ve gigged with these amps, although #4 was for a very limited time due to a blown transformer.

    Thanks! I sure think so.

No junk allowed, but cheap can be good. Pro Junior is in my top 10 for sure.

Ya.....that's what my powered PC monitors are for. Very revealing and dry as a popcorn fart. Very revealing of any sloppy technique in either hand. It's my acid test reference.

    2. '75 Princeton Reverb
    3. '69 Vibrolux Reverb
    4. Vox AC10c1

    5. as far as ones I used to own, or never owned but played, or never even played:

'68 Super Reverb - wish I still had that one!

Victoria ____ - tried one out ~ 15 years ago, a tweed Deluxe type, fantastic amp.

Carr Sportsman - have never seen or played one in the flesh (tolex?), just demo and performance vids, but have a real hankering for one.

I also said that if you have more or less, include them. Quote from OP "Title says it all. List, from best to less than best, your top 5 favorite amps. If you have played or owned more or less, feel free to list the number you have experience with.";)

My list included 7 which doesn't include a couple that are in my music room that don't make my best list.

I'll try to put up some photos tonight.

    Bad Cat Cub IV
    Bad Cat Black Cat 30
    Blackface(d) Princeton Reverb with a 12"
    Orange Rockerverb 30
    Marshall Origin 50

all currently in the stable. If I had to get down to one it would be the Black Cat -- the Cub sounds just as good or better and is much easier to move around but for those 3 or 3 gigs a year, the 30 takes the cake.

If I had a huge budget and no risk of repercussions, a Matchless Chieftain. If I had a really huge budget, I'd add in a Two Rock Burnside and Bogner Shiva. And, hey, since we're big spending now why not throw a Kemper in there too for good measure.

Of what I have right now, my Princeton Reverb once it gets fixed. My Monoprice 5w isn't bad either, after a tube upgrade. For modeling, I like the Matchless on my Hotone Binary Amp and my Hotone Mojo Diamond (Tweed Deluxe) and Siva Boogie (Bogner Shiva clean channel) nano heads.
