lipstick into humbucker route ???

I've got a Mex body with a humbucker route in the neck (maybe their all like that?) I would like put a single coil there and I guess a pick guard mount would be an easy solution but for this project I really wanted to put it in the body!
Any ideas.

I will post a pic but the problem is a void where the screws would go?

Are you talking about a lipstick pickup or a Tele neck pickup? The two are not the same.

Sorry yeah tele nick pick up. Ians pic looks interesting but not what I meant.

you'd need to know this Mexican route, it's got nothing to screw a pick up into, I thinking I'll have to use auto filler or glue a small wooden block.

I'm trying a paisley project but not the classic pink, mine is a experiment grading to black not pink and in vinyl, which will stick to the under side of a clear pickguard !

Well, unless you're using a clear pickguard, nobody is going to notice the big hole under it. There's probably enough wood to support a Tele neck pickup. I've got a P-90 screwed into one of mine.
