I missed the first 30 minutes of this 90 minute program from a live show in 1980. I came in during Poor Poor Pitiful Me. Not only was Linda amazing, but her band was awesome, as well. The only drawback is that when PBS has something this good on, you know it's pledge week, so you get 10 or 15 minutes of music followed by 10 minutes of begging for money. But, it's really worth it, 'cause where else are you gonna find this stuff? On Friday night there's gonna be a 75th Birthday tribute to Joni, feauturing a whole slew of amazing musicians. Great stuff!

Check out her stuff on You Tube. Lots of concert footage there with Waddy Wactell and Andrew Gold

You can probably find it at your public library. I've come across a number of them there.

Might be a moot point at this moment in our time of covid.
But you should check it out

Linda has shown that there is longevity in the music biz, if you surround yourself with great musicians and writers.
She goes way back to the Stone Ponies, what a body of work (pun intended).

I seen that a couple weeks ago. Good show, interesting career, and amazingly cute.

    Warren Zevon's tune.
When I saw him open for the Dead in the late 80's, he played it. Before he did, he said, in his best Garret Morris impersonation, "This song been berry, berry good to me!", referring to the humungous commercial success Linda had with it.

It was good. The cat playing the strat played with Jackson Browne on his later stuff.
