    I go the other way,

Not that I don't have ( or had, as I sold...) other guitars ( now just own a few), but I feel that as long as I have a clean Fender amp, a way to make it dirty ( good OD pedal) , I can play anything with a stock Stratocaster ( by this I mean 3 single pickups, 5-position switch, and whanmy bar).
Perfect guitar since 1954- they are that good!

I like the color. I don't need it either.

No. Not gassing for an accordion, because I have one, and only one (guitar players only need one).:D I’m sure that there are accordionists who have more than one, and I’m sure that there is an accordion forum somewhere, where they talk about gassing for accordions just like we gas about guitars.

Here’s my gem, and it sounds *******great! I just wish I knew how to play the dang thing. It’s a Hohner Carmen.

That is way to many pictures of an accordion.

Here is my solution over the last four years:

Ask yourself if you are willing to let go of one of your existing guitars to get this orange strat?

    Works everytime.

    Thank me later.

Not sure what the used market is like in Seattle, but in Tampa I see a CV strat or tele listed for $2-300 used all the time (local folks here like to take lower offers if you go and pick it up, or make it as convenient and expeditious as possible for them). Bought a CV tele BSB in perfect shape for $120 that way, which I was able to justify tinkering with since I got it so cheap :)

I admit I haven’t read all the replies here, so maybe I’m out of context at this point, but I can relate to the OP. For me it is Firebirds: I think they are gorgeous and evocative and I get the GAS pretty bad when I look at one. But the feeling evaporates when I pick one up because I find them extremely uncomfortable to play. The ergonomics are all wrong. So yeah, if you know you won’t care for playing the guitar in question, feast your eyes and spare your wallet.
