Therefore not the greatest movie ever. Maybe if it had Evel Knievel, but I don't recall that, either

JC's 'The Thing' is heads and shoulders above 'The Thing from another World', imo. More paranoia, amazing effects and a better story. They are both based on the novella "Who Goes There?" by John W. Campbell.
