KEEN slip-ons
My go-to shoe type for about 20 years
I’ve been wearing this particular pair maybe 200 days a year for the last 5 years.

KEEN seems to have moved away from this style, so I guess I need to start looking elsewhere for a rugged leather slip-on shoe…

EE width Iron Rangers - most comfortable pair of boots I ever had (except for my second pair of Iron Rangers - in black).
I’m a fan of Ariat Groundbreakers. But I actually love the look of these too. I’ll have to check them out.

Edit: pulled up the Iron Rangers… remembered why I went with the Ariats in the first place 🤣. I have worn Ariat square toe cowboy boots for YEARS. typically black leather bottoms. But I wanted a boot that could be played up or down. These with the right pair of pants can look very nice. But also can wear to work and hold up. And well. Half the cost of redwings

It reminds me of a Jeff Foxworthy comedy skit where he is stepping out of a camper at hunting camp saying, “guys should I go with the huntin’ boots or tennis shoes?” It just doesn’t happen.

These are the only pair of boots I have owned in a lot of years. They are very comfy for what they are. Wore them every day when I was commuting on two wheels. Would Do the Mr. Rogers thing when I got to work and slip off the boots and slip on the Vans :)

i have no favorites at the moment.....uh, and haven't for 5-6 years. I wear between a size 16 or 17 depending ob the manufacturer. At least I'm blessed with the fact I have very little selection on style of shoe, and the price's are usually doubled compared to regular sizes 8-13.

While limited in styles, selection and places to buy shoes, Nordstrom Rack and a local tall and fat boy shop at least have a few shoes that fit the need.

Back o the question at hand, my best pair of shoes would be q pair of trainers (as me ol British friends say) my grandson bought
(bless his heart) me.

A brand new pair of size 16 Air Jordan's he found at a second hand store.

Since he's a young student with a heavy pre-med schedule at the moment that leaves no time for a job, I insisted on paying him back. He finally relented and showed me the receipt. I owed him $20.49. I looked em up online and the sell for much, much more that $20.49

Guess I need to start wearing them again. I tend to gravitate to one pair of shoes nd wear them nearly every day until the fall apart.Right now it's a pair of Steve Madden leather half boots. They are OK....not great, but that'll do pig, that'll do....
