These are my leather ones. The left is a Levi, The right is suede leather with the fabric sewed on. The one in the middle I made in 1969. I needed something to hold up my Les Paul that would hurt my shoulder by the end of the night. I went into the leather district in Boston, bought the materials and made it. I used it for many years. You can see I'm holding it behind the LP in the band shot from '69 or 70 or there abouts

    some very nice stuff here!

I will make one eventually, but, once my Tele showed up, I found that it came with a halfway decent Black Leather Fender strap!!

    Now.... to "Strap-Lock" or not?

Has anyone put up a Fretsling that I missed? I'll drag mine out and get a picture if nobody has one, leather and very comfortable. I like using it on my bass.

I've had this strap since 1972. Hand made by a woman who came into a club I was playing at.

Here's a delightfully rare one I found in Korea, many moons ago. It was fairly expensive, and was made by a company in the USA called "Earth By Straps, Unlimited". The shop owner said he had imported it nearly a decade before then, and sure enough, I can find nothing on the company online.

Nice Straps guys (not to mention some cool hardware). I won't bother showing you the very ordinary Fender strap that came with my Tele (you know the one). I've been checking out some straps available today, and I came across this web site for a lady in Australia who hand makes some very nice stuff for international customers. I don't know her.

I can smell the leather. For you viewing pleasure:

But, but, the raw leather was the same color as the guitar, I wondered how you matched it

A dear friend bought me one of these for my 59Th birthday. It's called a Gibson Modern vintage. The padding is incredably thick.

    Very nice fellas!

I should try to take a few pics this weekend of mine. I mostly use inexpensive woven straps, but I do have a few nice leather ones from Medina that my wife gave me as gifts.
