Love the car threads! Anyone have a roadster of some kind, or a convertible? I am definitely a droptop guy, and I love rowing the gears in a small roadster.

This is my daily driver, 2017 Fiat 124 Spider:

    124Fiat1.jpg

    Other 'ragtops' I've owned:

    BMW "E46" 3 series convertible
    BMW Z3
Mazda Miata (first generation and most recent generation)
Volkswagen EOS (not a ragtop per se, but that transformer electric top was an engineering marvel)

Let's see 'em! Drop the top!!

    I had a 300ZX with T-tops. Don't have a picture though.

I need to shoot new pics, Elsa has new shoes now. But here’s what she looked like last summer.

    Me: I am Batman
LEO: Yeah, okay Batman...get rid of the noncompliant window tint before I see you again
    Me: DUOH!

Note: top down picture on another thread...hate to dupe
    Note 2: I've also owned a '65 Tbird convertible and a '63 Corvette roadster...funny, I don't like sunroofs.

    I had a 1968 Tempest white convertible.
In 1976 painted the hubcaps red white and blue (bicentennial)
and drove from Fla to Oh, camping along the way.

    Here was my '03 BMW 325ci: 1BMW.jpg

Like most BMWs, a pleasure to drive. Like most BMWs, spent more time at the mechanic than on the road haha Still, I loved it.

    Arrest-me-red is such a nice BMW color:cool:

Purists consider the E46 the last great 3 series. I loved ours (330ci coupe). I guess I’m not a purist; the turbo E92 quickly won me over in 2007. Gobs of torque and horsepower will do that... Now we’ve got an F87 M2 with north of 400hp:eek:

1972 Triumph TR6, owned since '99. A little quirky but fun.

I'm a P-car kinda of guy but IMHO the 911 cabriolet does not look good. Yours does.

Love the entire TR family. Didn't own one personally but a lot of HS friends (or their Fathers) did!

My first car was a 66 TR4-A, so I’ll always have a soft spot for these:):)

It's more of a "pop top" than a "drop top", but I'll go with it anyway.

    Hey, thanks. I recall you’ve got a sweet 911:cool:

It’s hard to not look good when the design is an homage to this:

    0A950A27-8A86-49AC-95CB-C6896B54F0F0.jpeg

That’s why I wanted a silver car with terracotta interior. To complete the homage.
