    :p
Its one of those common Masterbuilt electric boxes.
I have used the thing heavily for about ten years now. Learned a few simple tricks to make the best of its simplicity, and I like it very much!

Besides, I like a good deal.....

The unit went on sale for $130 and I just happened to have a 25% off coupon at that moment.....

And the story behind todays meat selection- (we have lived entirely on grocery delivery since March 11)
I ordered two slabs of baby back ribs. They sold out and substituted the loins. Over twice as much. No extra charge.

Its really hard to be me today.

Nice. I love making pulled pork. One of my favorite things to do on a rainy Sunday during the winter. Rub the pork the night before, throw on an indirect grill as the first football game of the day starts (west coast that’s 10am), brush it with a beer-apple cider-brown sugar-cayenne mop sauce every hour or so, by the end of the last game it’s off the grill and into the counter to rest and cool somewhat. Then shred-pull into a pile and make the sammies. Awesome stuff. And another main reason it’s good to be alive.
