I bow down before a walking legend:
Keith Moon's final live performance with The 'oo. The moment when Townshend flies through the air behind Daltrey at 7.47 is priceless.
Gotta love some R.L.
RIP Mark Hollis. They didn't do many live tours, which makes this all the more special. The whole gig is on youtube somewhere, I recommend it.
Warning - may contain bad haircuts.
The very wonderful Richard Thompson. One of those players who often makes me think 'how the f@#k does he do that?'
Humble Pie on the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1973. How good was Marriott?
I've been watching this one a lot lately- the Young Fresh Fellows were the ultimate garage band-
The mix starts off crap (it does get better), but the unbridled enthusiasm of the early '90s comes through loud and clear.
These guys impress me a lot. Haven't come across a bad show of theirs yet.
These guys always Rock.
Always a good show.
