I think I'm keeping out of this thread now. I really don't like Firebirds - which is exactly what I thought about Jazzmasters a couple of years back - I have 2 now and I'm plotting a third...

I'm already getting these funny feelings looking at the pics here.

The two players most responsible for me coveting and eventually buying one were Allen Collins and Ronnie Wood.

Mine is currently in desperate need of a decent professional setup. I just don’t have the skill.

Possibly a better version, solo starts 1.33

The tone of a sliding Firebird on the neck pickup is something I never get tired of
