Hey. I have been lurking around this forum for along time. Such a great community.
Now I want to contribute myself.

I am going to build a one-pickup Les Paul Junior (Body) / Tele (Neck) Hybrid.

Ash Body - Roasted Maple Neck with Evo Frets.

Bridge Full Brass "Slick Guitars" Style Bridge

    Epiphone Spilt Humbucker Bridge Position.

Pictures following. Most parts are still to be delivered.

    Cost so far:

Body pre cut - nor routings from a guy who has no time to finish his project: 55,- Euro

Neck: from a company here in germany wildfangguitars: 170,. Euro

    Bridge: Aliexpress 35,-

PU: Alieexpress Set of Epiphone Probucker with wiring 30,- / only going to use the Bridge so 15,-

not decided on the Tuners yet.

    Wish me Luck

A real tele neck right. Not the strat type. I would love to see that.
Can't wait to see it. Good luck

Look- I have no problem with you putting a Tele neck on an LP Junior and painting it bass-boat pink sparkle, but a humbucker is just going too far! ;)

What a beauty!! Did you make a neck to fit a original LP - neck-pocket? Looks a bid wider.

What a beauty. Is that a original body with a wider neck to fit the pocket?

Neck pocket is standard fender size.
I bought the body off of eBay a while ago and just recently finished everything.
It took me forever to design the pickguard.

I changed my mind a bit. I want this to be kind of a prototype for another project.
So I got another neck with stainless frets for this and save the EVO Neck for the final project.

Today was neck finishing day. This is a quick wet sand BLO mixture finish like proposed by Chris of Highland Guitars. Lets call it "The Mr. Kowalsky" Finish

The video for this procedure is here:

This is a fast, nice and really smooth, satin finish.

A "Lesquier" build. I like that name. I wouldn't go that way myself. I must have a neck pickup. And if I were to even consider a single bridge pickup, it would likely be a P-90.

But still, I like that "Lesquier" name. :)
