I will call this a Les TelEsquire Junior.
DIY body from reclaimed pine + linseed oil, cheap chinese neck (fret job needed some work), Lollar bridge pup, sculpted rear contours. What a sound!!!
Still under work, oil on neck, last minute setup...

    That. Is. Rad.

    Love it!

Is the dogear P-90 countersunk into the top for string clearance, or is the neck shimmed up (or neck pocket cut shallower?) to get the strings higher off the body, or what?

Yes, indeed. It needed a little carving for the pickup's wings. That's all!
    Thank you!

    Yes yes yes yes yes!!!

For years I’ve contemplated what I would do if I made a homemade guitar.

I have a couple aesthetic differences in my minds eye, but that is exactly the layout!

    Well done.

    Thank you, guys!
Indeed I think to this layout based on that Dogear, since more than a year...

    Meee likeeeee!

I wonder how it would look if you took off the neck plate and used washers instead. :)
