Les Pauls with P90s are a glorious thing - what have you got?

Someone say P-90's? 2014 Les Paul Melody Maker with slug P-90's, Axl LP Junior with a Fralin dogear. Both have beefier than usual necks, love 'em.

I have been tempted to find a black LP and do the same thing. Won't be anytime soon though

Schecter Tempest Special. They come with some pretty fantastic hardware straight out of the factory. Tone Pro’s bridge. Grover tuners. Duncan designed P 90s. 24.75” scale set mahogany neck with a mahogany body. It’ll get me there.

Here's my contribution - Early 1963 Les Paul Junior. Absolutely love everything about this guitar! :)

Here's my "Les PRS" I built last year. Everything I love about Les Paul's but "fixed" the things I don't (scale length, headstock angle, heel), plus adding a couple twists that are more PRS than Gibby.

The p90s are from Zhangbucker (David Plummer, my favorite winder). He made the neck p'up with 1/4" A5 rods to get a staple p90 tone. This is definitely my number one.

The Gibson isn't mine, but it was a major inspiration on my build. It's a '59 Special with the factory Bigsby I played at Gruhn's while making the rounds one day a couple years ago. I checked my couch cushions and the change tray in my car, but I was a little short of the $10k price tag.

This kills me. I had no one to really guide me in this area when I started out. Growing up in Nashville, you'd think o would have had easy access, but none of my friends were really into it. I shudder to think of some of the cool gear I could have gotten of I had known.

I only got dis one. 2016 Japan something something. Factory Handwired instead of the silly circuit board. My first Gibson. Totally love it- rude P90s, 60s slim taper neck, ebony board, proper frets.

In addition to the T-style guitars, I had always loved Les Paul guitars; that is, UNTIL I saw the PRS single-cut guitars.

Yours is a beauty in its simplicity - and I love the color and appointments.

    What model is this one?

I love Les Paul's with P90s. Always preferred 335s with humbuckers to Les Paul's.

Here's the 3 I've been lucky enough to get over the years. 20170701_123058.jpg
    L to R 59 LPS 55 LPJ 60 LPS.

    All get gigged.

Bought the 59 LPS 30 years ago for peanuts and it's been set up for bottleneck ever since. It's done well over 500 gigs. Despite being tuned to open E with 11s the repaired heel break has never moved!

The 55 LPJ is the most musically brutal guitar I've ever played.

Sorry for using this pic again but whenever this topic comes up it has to be used:D
