I realize the thread is old, but I'd very much appreciate a pdf of the Tele-Paul optimized shape done in AutoCAD. My email: [email protected]
If the initiating author receives this, please contact me at the email address provided. Thx

    Deed,
I echo the others' comments on this design. I think you have defined a new standard that will be a treasured for years to come. I may have missed something, but if there is a full sized pdf available through the resources you have provided I didn't find it. I have saved the picture but only as a png. If there a full sized pdf embedded somewhere here I am stumped.

And I may be a assuming a whole lot about imitation being the sincerest form of flattery, but I am guessing you don't mind us "borrowing" your design for our own builds or you wouldn't have posted it here, amongst this den of thieves .

Any help on the pdf will be much appreciated.

    Admiringly,
    Rex

I went into the design with Mark at Stol Guitars and made it slightly larger. Around 4%

Also made it slightly thinner. 1 1/2" thick with a set neck. Thing screams!

Can't find the pictures of the finished guitar, but here are a couple while it was in process.

Awesome man! I never realised someone had made one already... I guess it was an old thread! Haha. I'd love to see pics of the finished guitar.

That's the perfect faded light burst and a gorgeous flame top.

Thanks guys. I think the key was making it a tiny bit larger. Mark at Stol Guitars doesn't agree with me but, hey, what can I say.

We altered the shape a little in the waste and cutaway, and of course, when I made it larger, several subtle changes needed to be made to smooth it all out and make it work.

I wish I could find more photos. The guitar is in Atlanta Georgia where it howls daily!

The increased size and flat top certainly make it look more Tele like. Perhaps a deep carved top and set neck would help chunk up the original size a bit.

Either way that's a sunning guitar!

Thank You! I wanted to make it thinner because of recent experiences playing SGs and other thin body guitars. They seem to have a woolier sound to them that is warmer and a bit less focused. Nice retro tones. I also moved the bridge pickup an additional 3/16" away from the bridge. Much fatter bridge position sound that matches the tone better with the neck pickup. Not such a drastic difference.

Thank you for posting the original drawing and allowing us to share it.
