Great genes right there.
I’ve been playing this combo all morning. ‘58 VOS Historic into Quilter Aviator Pro with Keeley Monterey. It’s big fun for sure.

Traditional's are my second favorite Gibson Les Pauls right behind the Custom Shop guitars.
here is my 98 limited edition 56 gold top. Love this guitar.
Bought this LP Traditional from Sweetwater back in 2016. These are the pictures from their website of the guitar that I bought.
The Traditional are great guitars , mine is a 2019

2019 60’s Standard
My latest Lester, and quite possibly my favorite!
I've had this Standard for a couple of years, and I'm pretty sure I haven't posted it to this thread, so here it is, a 2017 Heritage cherry burst!
Picked this up in a trade the other day. Naturally relicked by the last owner. Needs pickups, pots, and a proper wiring harness. Haven’t owned a Gibson in over 30 years or an LP style guitar in many as well. Usually not a fan of an LP, but going to give it a try again.
That's gonna be a awesome project!
I posted my other LPs earlier in the thread, but this one came later:
You know how the new LPs you get from GC have those rosewood boards that seem a bit thirsty? So even though I know mineral oil is mineral oil I had some time to kill and headed down to local-ish GC to get some "lemon oil."
Although loving new bourbon burst 60s, on the way down to Spartanburg, SC (20 min) I thought to myself "if they have a new 60s standard in Iced Tea that's actually lighter weight-wise, I may look into it." since I'm well within the 45 days return window.
They did. Only a couple ounces lighter but fell for the top and the neck was all but identical. No binding tooling marks on this one either, not that I cared about the ones on the BB. A 2020 vs a 2019 but both are outstanding guitars. And the birth date, Jan 28, was my mother's birthday so yeah, love that.
To make it even better when my guy did the return and then brought the case that belonged to the Iced Tea from the back, it was one of the newer mic ones. I asked him if I could keep the TKL from the BB with the new Iced Tea and he said no problem.
Went to get some lemon oil, ended up swapping out LPs.
Iced Tea over Bourbon Burst for me. Pics to follow...
These tops can look so different under different lighting... tbh, all looks are pretty awesome, if you ask me.
Here's shot from first day, love those mineral streaks!:
