That's what I'm figuring. The guy was selling it as a '90s Japanese model, but from what I've read they're pretty rare, and not cheap. This was regularly priced and everything points to a bog standard LPJr. Shame. Still, a bit of modding, it could be ok.
Finished this guy up a couple months ago….. I put a zero fret on which you don't see too often on Lp's
I picked this Vintage V100 up at a local carboot sale, It was scruffy, Strings were wound on the wrong way and were rusty but it was only £15!!!
It cleaned up fantastically!
It has a set neck too...
This one was £5 also from the bootsale, The headstock had been snapped off, I glued and cramped it then lost interest!!
The brown one (Tobacco?) was also from a bootsale but was £50 with an amp! Can't remember which amp it was though, It may have gone now!!
Wow, some serious bargains there!
Here's mine, a 2016 Studio Faded. Awesome thing to play, my first Gibson but definitely not my last.
2013 Deluxe II, 60's neck, 490R pickup in the neck and a BurstBucker Pro in the bridge, also has coil taps and active 10db boost, I really like it:

Getting new strings:
I like the non bound body look:

Sorry about the pics going missing, My photobucket started freezing badly, I had to delete some albums to get it to work (Still very bad though )
Here are the pics again but in Imgur which seems to be working fine!!
It seems I don't have a backup copy of the guitar with the broken headstock
The brown one (Hohner)
Not sure when I last posted in this thread, but I'm pretty sure my Pauls have changed since whenever that may've been.
Here are mine, Gibsons, Epiphones, and a Hamer Special (USA). The Epiphones are both setnecks.
My big iron:
And my Slab Trio:
Basic Epi Les Paul Standard. Love it though!
1983 Les Paul Spotlight Special ASB.
My Gibson Goldtop Standard:
And a Studio with a Bigsby (which is getting a set of new pickups & a Varitone at the moment):
(*sorry for pic loading times, pics are from my @leonzunec instagram account)
Here's my R7.
I (obviously) changed the plastic to black.
I also changed the strap button and added a metal jack plate.
It's heavy, but has a big neck, and it stays in tune beautifully.
Ok, I'll play. 2016 Trad in Desertburst
I bought this "Austin" Les Paul off my Brother In Law's Boss. It was made in Indonesia. Has a really thin, fast neck. It feels just beautiful. I don't know the exact year it was made, but I'm guessing 2010 by the serial number. If anyone has any guess, I welcome it. I pot broke on me when I changed out knobs, so I replaced all the pots with CTS pots, & now is a really nice machine.
Don't think I have posted this one. R8 that I picked up from a buddy about a year ago.
Or this 2007 standard I acquired about 6 months ago via trade.
Should be here, next week. 2016 Traditional Limited Edition in Lemon Burst, with 57 classics in zebra, plain top, and no weight relief. Careful with my baby, FedEx!
