Leo Kottke has been a huge influence on acoustic guitar since his 1969 release "Six & Twelve String Guitar". I was fortunate enough to see him live in the 80's. He was in great form. Leo has a great sense of melody, tone and timing. Maybe not a flash player but one who always delivered the goods. I've always found Leo's work to be very listenable.

I highly recommend "A Shout Toward Noon" from 1986.

Forgot to say I saw him live at the Belly Up back in 1997? Front row, ten feet away. Got to shake his hand (no magic rubbed off). Best concert I've ever attended. That right thumb of his is possessed.
