Anybody ever do an upside down neck on there Teley project?
Might have a good deal on a MIM lefty neck and was wondering if there’s anything to look out for

Marker dots will be on the wrong side and if it has a nut it will be bass-ackwards. Those are easy to fix. Your choice of tuners will probably be less but they are available.

Does a guitar with a reverse headstock have a different feel as far as string tension?

I have a lefty Tele, I'm right handed. Just had to reverse the nut and re-intonate the bridge. Easy stuff.

May I ask, why? I've always wondered why righties do this when there are so many right-handed guitars out there, in addition to the notable disadvantages of playing a flipped guitar (poor access to high frets, volume & tone control awkward to reach and subject to accidental movement by your picking arm).
Gary Clark Jr's 2nd guitar-player was playing a lefty Tele on SNL on this last Saturday, which drove me to distraction.

Was out of town on extended family business, all guitars were at home. I was gone long enough that I stopped by a local pawnshop to see what they had. Lefty Squier tele was the only guitar worth picking up in my price range. No bigs.

I had a left handed Strat flipped righty Hendrix style for a short time. It was a chore to tune and not easy to play. The novelty wore off quick.

as someone who builds as many lefty guitars as rightys...I'd make a nice lefty body for it and put it on the market..;)..

I noticed that too, and I thought it was quite odd. Even worse upper fret access than a Strat flipped over. But, I couldn't see it well enough to tell if it was an actual Fender or another brand.

Moollon Boss YJ had been working on the one-off T-Classic all winter, and he returned from NAMM just in time to do a few days of final adjustments + ship it out to King Zapata on Feb. 1st.

20 layers of very thin clearcoat nitro sprayed over big-flake red sparkles, Esquire concept (sans neck cavity routing) w/Esquire circuitry + our 1960 spec single coil, 100% pre-CBS-spec custom alloys (tuners, bridge plate, saddles), and with the LH-direction waterslide on the headstock, it's made to look like a flipped LH guitar. Here's a closeup we took before having it packed up. Zapata added the pickguard as seen on the SNL performances:
