    Yellow mustard is just another take on mustard. Delicious on/in some things. I love it in chili.

    How did you have it? A lot of condiments are nasty in certain contexts.

    Guldens spicy brown or nothing. Loaded with tumeric. Good for inflammation.

    We use yellow mustard for cooking. Very seldom on a sandwich. We’ve probably got 6-7 different mustards in the fridge. Deitz & Watson, Gulden, Ingelhoffer, Zatarian plus maybe one or two more

    This thread reminds me of some pretty good mustard I had a couple years ago

    I’m pretty sure it had relish mixed in with it, or something else that was tasty that I can’t remember

    I prefer the spicy brown type over the yellow. I’ve been using Boar Head’s deli style lately and find it hard to go back to Gulden’s now.

    I agree with the burgers and hot dogs. I would add egg salad. My mother made the best (and mine is basically the same) with chopped egg, French's mustard, Miracle Whip (NOT mayonnaise) and sweet pickle relish.....I can't tell you the portions of each, it's just experience. Basically what is served in Heaven. ;)

    What you are missing is simply having grown up in USA where French's is "mustard". I am so glad that French's is sold here and it's all I buy, fake bright yellow colouring and all. My sentiment re English mustard is the same as yours re French's by the way.

    PS, French's isn't the only yellow mustard sold in the UK, there are those phony copies from Holland, etc, and often sold in the "American foods" section. But French's is the best one.

    I'll eat any mustard that's put in front of me, but Frenches is definitely good mustard. As others said, it's perfect for hot dogs, corn dogs and hamburgers. You just don't want to put a whole bunch of it on. Other mustards you can slather on your sandwich, Frenches needs to be applied sparingly.

    Can’t stand mustard in any form but Mrs Wrighty really misses Coleman’s German variety, which, for some reason, we’ve not been able to get around here for sometime.
