Laur's guitar neck

    Anybody know what type of fingerboard is on Laur's P90 tele. I think it's a Warmoth neck and it looks like maple, but with some king of dark figuring/growth-ring?

    I guess Im not seeing it (p90 or growth rings), the finger goo and worn lacquer?
    Liking the slide though

    That's one of Sturgill's partscasters.

    Not a P90 loaded guitar.

    He was smitten with Don Mare pickups. Might be a good place to start looking.

    Yeah, I see that it's not a P90 now;) I had read he used one and thought that this must be it.

    @2blue2...I guess you're right. Upon blowing up the image...it does just appear to be gunk...lol I think I'm got "spalted" on my mind and it caught me. (which I didn't think the fingerboard would be made from)

    I don't know? spalted might be a cool fingerboard, depends on how it was done I guess.
