I used to just wail away in whatever scale seemed appropriate. Now I am trying to play with the changes, but I need to work on being spontaneous within the changes. Sometimes this leads to slight timing mishaps and pauses when my fingers are still figuring out where to go, so it doesn't sound entirely smooth to me. I'm improving, I think. Improvisation is a never-ending journey. Thanks for the feedback!
