I refinished the front face of the guitar 4 times in 2 years never did like it until the last go. The front sides and back are all from previous tries and don't match each other but some how it works. Because of the diversity of the body I tried to make the guitar with many sound selections and blend a hum canceling bridge with single coil neck. Below is the switch layout. Sounds great I was worried about the 500k pots making the neck pickup to bright.

    Position 1: neck pickup alone
Position 2: neck + bridge in parallel
    Position 3: bridge pickup alone
Position 4: neck + bridge in parallel “half out of phase"
Position 5: neck pickup alone with 10 percent less low end than position 1

    GULP!.....that's nice.
Just one question.....won't gold frets wear out after, like, one song?

Definitely not desirable styling for everyone. I am sure it would suit somebody.

You better get it right the first time and then use your gold finger tips as bling to pick up the ladies.

I for one love it. Definitely unique, not traditional, and I find it really interesting.

wow, those saddles are jacked up super high. Everything OK with the neck angle? Looks real cool though.

I was sure I would have to take the neck off and take some material off the mounting face. I gave it a try anyway, the action is super low and the adjustment screws are level with the top of the barrels. Should be stable didn’t want to screw something that worked. Time will tell.
