Late model 1977 Traynor YBA-4 / YBA1 to earlier specs and modifications

Late 70s YBA-1 or YBA-4 Traynor Bass Masters are just the best. The later plate driven tone stacks result in a bit of a gain-y-er amp the the earlier cathode follower ones (prior to 1972). I like these later ones as is for guitar. Handwired, mustard caps, high build quality, and rad Darth Vader looks….why these amps can still be found for these low prices I don’t understand. Yours looks to be in great shape too! Congrats!

Pop a Celestion 15” Fullback speaker (8ohm) in there and you’ll be amazed. Great clean to mean greenback type tones!
