The other lists prompted me. So AFAICR:

    Jerry Garcia
    SRV
    Doc Watson
    Clarence White
    BB King
    Michael Hedges
    Alvin Lee
    Dick Wagner
    Brownie McGhee
    Chet Atkins
    Gary Quackenbush
    Elvis Presley

Elvis did play a guitar when I saw him so it counts.

I am glad i had the chance to see Albert King live. He put on one hell of a show. Talk about street cred, every note was like the voice of God.

I was blown away by JJ Cale live. He was amazing!! I have never heard anyone make a strat sing like he did. Not Clapton, not Knopfler, okay, maybe Jeff Beck haha!

Too many to mention. Only one comes to mind in this dawn hour: Gary Pickford-Hopkins -

He makes it look so easy.

Everyone wanted guitar lessons off him. I had one mate that pestered him so much he gave in. It made him a better player.

Remember him playing all those nights through his mesa-boogie. What a ripper. RIP.

Incredible player. Never a note wrong. Never a note too many. Never a note not enough. Just right. He rocked.

Had the pleasure of seeing Stevie Ray Vaughn the only time he played my hometown. Front row tickets too. My girlfriend at the time was less impressed. Might be why she did the deadhead thing for a couple of summers... ;)

Phil Kenemore (Y&T bass player) Does Phil count, I never saw Y&T play live but I knew him as a kid he lived next to my grandparents in Oakland and I watched him play the guitar in his backyard.

B B. Brilliant. Saw him twice.

    Mark sandman from morphine.

Could it be that everyone I've seen live is still going (at least on guitar). Ronnie James dio and Freddie mercury. (Actually Freddie played a guitar)

I saw Queen in San Antonio when they toured to support Queen II.
Mr. Mercury was mesmerizing, but he didn't play guitar that night.
They were all astounding that night in the fall of 73.
    Brownsville Station opened.
