    I am getting the itch to speaker swap though.

    I would agree on these being amp favorites. It is mine too.

    My tan handle is perfect still. Going on 3 years. But then again it sits on my cab and only gets moved when I clean.

    The quality is still there IMO. How does a company keep the price point and offer all the studio hook up options?

    Cheaper labor.

    I got a first generation L5T-112 combo in a trade. I listed my HRD (bought new in 1998) that was too loud for my need. A jazz guitarist looking for much clean headroom was interested and had this Laney.

    It is a very nice amp, well build (except for the crappy handle that I already replaced once), silent, with great tone. I mostly use the clean channel for home practice
