Picked up this Custom Shop ‘65 model a while back. Love LPB, have been looking for one that just felt right for some time. I bought it unmolested, I did put a 5-way switch in it. Any other LPB fans here?

Preffer it with maple neck, cant get with rosewood with blue.

Tidepool feels better than LPB, lpb is still lovely

    Just beautiful,
there are hundreds of adjectives that would apply, but beautiful best describes it.

Pretty color.....only problems?.....too many cutaways, too many knobs, too many contours, and too much headstock material. Other than those.....nice guitar! ;)

It is possible, but I don’t think the Custom Shop was still using Brazilian in 2005

That is a gorgeous guitar. Congrats!!

If it feels as good as it looks, it's a keeper.

The OP's guitar and rze99's MIJ Bound 62 AVRI are the only two that are the correct shade of blue. All the others are the stupid faded version of LPB that Fender seems to favor these days, rather than the correct darker LPB from the 60's guitars. The faded versions look more like Tidepool to me than true LPB.

Yes, this guitar fell in my lap a few years ago. The only strat I've ever owned that stays in tune!
