I'm considering Lace Sensors to replace the EMGs I have in my Tele.
Any experience with both here?
There are so many Lace Sensors that I wouldn't know how to choose a set.
I play clean with a little overdrive now and then in an oldies rock and country group.
Thanks for any ideas.

I've had a couple sets of Lace sensors and never got anything I was super happy with out of them.

Wilde noiseless was an upgrade for me.

I have never had EMGs in a guitar. Good luck in your search.

I hade the Lace Sensors in a Strat Plus Deluxe; a red, blue and a silver. I liked them a lot and they were quiet for singles. They have a certain compresison to them that I found appealling. I'm not sure you'll see them as an upgrade from EMGs though unless you are really wanting to go over to passives.

What don't you like about the EMG's??? 🤔
The EMGs are fine. I'm just looking for something different and passive. A few reasons. I have a Tele with Duncan Vintage noiseless and I really like them. I should probably be happy with the EMG set, but you know guitar tinkerers! I'm also thinking about the Little '59 in the bridge.

I have two duallys in my Strat and standard Red-Silver-Blue in my other Strat. I like them - warm yet crisp response. I agree on a slight compression be standard singles which I like. My only advise is if you’re doing a combined HB + Single Coil set up - stick with 250K pots because - although there is a compromise with your Lace humbucker - it’s still better than having their single coils going through 500K pots - kind of harsh. My duallys are blue-gold for neck and silver-red for bridge. Gold and silver sides are positioned north.

I had EMG humbuckers in my Les Paul many years ago, and I never got on with them. There was something sterile about them.

Conversely, I've had Lace Sensors (Gold, Silver, Red, Light Blue so far) in a couple of guitars, and I currently have sets waiting to be installed. Big fan. The Gold are the best I have tried, although the Light Blue has a very cool vibe. I need to try the Hot Golds, because I like the classic Fender single coil sound, but I always want to hit my amp a bit harder than standard single coils.

If they made a set of Hot Gold Tele PUs, I'd have installed a set already. If anything, my main frustration with them is they only make Tele PUs in A) black plastic and B) Gold, Red (Bridge only), and Blue (Neck only). I would *love* a set of Light Blue Tele PUs in white plastic!!!
