Five youths, 12 to 16 years old, are charged in Nashville musician's murder

Unfortunately more of this crime is happening in Music City and its captured the city's heart.

He was 24 years old a Belmont Graduate and images on the local channel showed him on stage with a sweet rosewood telecaster.

God Bless his friends and families and I have to wonder if he was one of us?

"Police have charged two boys, ages 13 and 16, and three girls, ages 12, 14 and 15, with criminal homicide in connection with his death."

They were stealing cars, doing armed robberies and then killed this guy because he wouldn't give them the keys to his car after they took his wallet.
Hard to believe children are committing such crimes.
I feel bad for his friends and family, and especially for him. Senseless and tragic.
I guess it's a sign of the times. Too bad guns are so easy to get.

It’s so senseless and stupid. There are a lot of people around here asking questions.

They won't get punishment that fits the crime. Go no further than their looser parents to discover the real perpetrators in this melee. And any 13 year old can get a gun. If you want one, it isn't far away.

What kind of peace do you get when you are shot dead?

Here's a Link to his bands website

    https://www.carverton.com

It would be unfortunate, if his only fame came at the cost of his death!

It is our local area, saw last night on 5pm news,so sad, random teenage violence is out of hand, see it everyday from working in the streets as a business...the guns..the the hostility..the general lack of respect even for human life..prayers for the family

As far as blaming the parents, that's the easy thing to do.
There's more to it than that and it can't be discussed here.
