Kluson Revolution F tuners - what the F's with the key shape?

Oval keys on F style tuners? Love the Revolutions, but where are the octangular keys of the originals?

There are obviously more differences between the two, but the key shape is quite specific in the case of the F tuner footprint.

Despite the anguish, I've ordered a set for a CBS strat build because the Revolutions are fantastic tuners (have vintage 6 and 3x3 sets) but - has anyone found replacement keys of the correct shape? I have other style Klusons with the exact key but, of course, the keys are not interchangeable.

That original button shape is a Schaller (OEM) thing.

Look for some Schallers with that parallelogram footprint.

"F-style" is different than "F-copy" IME, F-style indicates the type of parallelogram footprint.
