His schtick wears thin fast... and really, his demos are bad if you want to actually hear what a pedal can do... he just randomly twiddles knobs. PGS Andy has the best demos, because they're methodical, well explained, and he's a KILLER player.

To the OP, I've only heard great things about King Bee guitars, but never had the pleasure of playing one... but they're top notch by all accounts.

One video he did have me laughing. I think he just has a different kind of sense of humor. I dont think he is totally full of himself. He appears that way but thats him trying to be funny. The knob video was a bad demo.

Guess I'm in the minority, I like GMD. I like those KingBees. Gotta try one.

I'll second that about Andy. How the hell does he play like that with no pick?

anybody know what kind of bridge that is? I like the side supports for the saddles--it reminds me of a PRS trem. I had a PRS EG with a trem and it stayed in tune incredibly well for a nonlocking trem.

And does anybody else think Gearmandude does a decent Jack Black impersonation?

Love PGS Andy, and GMD. They both give me GAS so I hate them.

Those King Bees sure look purdy, no experience with em but the reviews are great.

I just tried a King Bee Cabronita at the Guitar Emporium in Louisville. It was very nice and definitely something I would consider buying, although at $1800 it isn't in the impulse buy range.

One thing that I like is that the KB has volume, tone and a pickup selector switch. The one I played had larger frets. It played really well but I think if I were to buy a KB I would order one with vintage neck specs and less severe relic'ing.

GMD works at Guitar Emporium. That's why I asked. :)
