Sad to announce Three billion birds have been lost since 1970 in North America. Habitat loss, pesticides, etc. And we wonder why the new bird of America is the mosquito. Our selfishness will pay off in negative dividends. I love how this isn't a top 3 issue cause it is. If we used our brains emotions instead outright selfishness , many of these topics would not be issues. Keep up your non-concern of reality. The bite is gonna hurt real bad. We are just trying hard to do ourselves in.

Think of it as a warning, like a rash on your genitals and neck.

I promise you I don't have a clue where the three billion birds are. I swear I did not take them, nor did I shoot the deputy. I did fart in a can one time though and it kind of made a sound like a frog. Are we missing three billion frogs? I am not ashamed I was born a human, if I had been born a dog I would have been dead, 60 years ago. I'm even more ecstatic I wasn't born a frog, 'cause people run over frogs, and just leave them splattered out there for all the world to see.

This thread is doomed, pretty much in the same manner the stolen or lost birds are.

Most of those are due to people letting their cats roam around...

Birds are killers by nature. A scrub jay ate a baby dove we were trying to nurse to maturity.

Don't look at me, I'm a dog. I only bark at crows.

We have, well actually the neighbor has a cat that craps in my yard, and kills birds and leaves the feathers on my porch. I'm not sure if he alone is responsible for the three million lost birds though. If he is, he's a terrible guide.

Sometimes I feel like I’d be embarrassed if I were from this planet, but it has nothing to do with birds.

What this thread needs is some good accordion music.

An interesting fact about the earth. No matter if it's land, sea, or airborne among the living all of their crap settles back to the earth. Eventually.

So I take it from your posts that this topic is a joke, a non concern, a non-reality issue? Be honest.

Most of evolution concerns survival of the fittest. Better birds live off the less prepared species. How is any government going to dictate a change in evolution. Should be interestingreading, but nothing more.

I care at least as much about the birds as they do about me.
