I have loved that song for so long now. When the CD first came out I read a review that said "Weird and Wonderful" , I have to agree

One of my favourites but not my favourite Los Lobos LP. That would be The Neighborhood or By The Light Of The Moon!

I’ve got all of their albums, even the Disney one. I’d be hard-pressed to say which one is my favorite. But the two that you mentioned are outstanding!

I've got them all except the Disney one, just can't seem to find it. I have the live ones bought fm their website as well.

They were angry at Paul Simon for ripping them off ...

    They still are ...

This is a great album! I met the guys once during Folsom, CA's summer concerts series. They opened for Ronnie Milsap. Really awesome dudes.

When I met Louis Perez, Milsap & his band were playing their set. Louis was standing behind the organist's Leslie rotary speaker, and just staring at it. I walked up to introduce myself and before I could say hi, Louis looked at me, shouted over the music and said, "What a great sound!"

I was already on a Los Lobos high then "Kiko" came out. What a superb album. Totally agree about the best American Band for the last 35 years.

GREAT band! Kiko didn’t grab me right away but it really grew on me after a few listens.
