Hey guys, this is my entry for the Kiesel Solo Contest 2019. I hope y’all enjoy

I don’t think playing is about competition, but it’s a cool thing to see different players their take on the same track.

Nice tones too - what amp, etc. were you using?

I agree playing should (generally) not be about competition. When musicians enters that framework it often becomes an exercise in exercises. Emotional musicality is usually substituted for displaying techniques (lightning fast arpeggios, speedy legato, hybrid picking, fluidity, etc.). But that's ok - I can appreciate listening to technique, when it's properly pitched as such. :)

You have excellent skills! I appreciated the slippery slides and accurate bends in your solo.

I used a blues jr amp. The Overdrive is a pedal based on the klon made in Brazil by jrmod... it’s called Mexiklon. And the guitar and pickups are Hc Guitars (check them out on Facebook and Instagram)

Thank you very much for watching!
