Rap, Hip Hop, "new" Country....it's all hopeless.....who's gonna carry the torch?
ANNNNDD, he's got guitar face for days. Cool, thanks for posting.
aaaand, no pitch correction . . .
Well I could enjoy some nice cold ones watching those kiddies play! Oh that's right all the bars are closed
Me being 16, it's surprising to my grandpa why I like the same stuff he does. Here's us playing Folsom Prison Blues with my Twin I regret selling
she plays guitar on other videos but i don`t think she has a Tele yet
I just spent most of the last decade running a primary school rock band, teaching young kids guitar, building/repairing guitars to give to them...and playing in their bands if members couldn't make a gig... school concerts, town fairs, fetes, helping at a district school of rock when my band members got chosen... all as a volunteer..
I just tried to put guitars into as many kids' hands as I could and get them started on playing... then let them know that the rest was up to them, it's all on there, everything you want to play... there was always a few each year that picked up that ball and ran with it....
I've lost count of those surreal moments in the band room where after witnessing a spine tingling first run through of a song where they nailed it and thought to myself.. can kids do this?....after the fact...
That's what I did.... planted small guitar rock seeds at a local school..as a payback for all those bands I stood in front of to enjoy without thinking for a moment where they all learned how to play.....
Yeah but is he using tubes or a modeler???????
Never lose that video. Very special.
Interesting videos with a couple of common themes: the artists are very young and talented, and what they're playing is somewhat out of the mainstream as defined by today's popular music genres. I hope they keep it up- we need the variety!
Great thread. Some wonderful talent. We need more kids like these in the world for sure.
The kids are alright
Kids in my city are turning to vinyl classics and stuff we grew up with. It's encouraging.
They also get older. My son's best mate, now 32, wanted to swap an Epiphone Les Paul for a Chinese Martin type OM with herringbone and nice spruce top. I kept it. Both him and my son are happy to play acoustics now after hurting my ears in their teens in the garage.
Some kids at my daughter's high school last year. Both young men are pretty good here and have gotten better since then. Saw them play 2 weeks ago at school with a new female singer, they've been woodshedding for sure.
I sure will not. He's got bladder cancer right now at 78. He was just diagnosed with it. Chemo and radiation should last until August. He'll beat it!
This whole thread, just damn. Nice stuff.
I love new school playing old school.
Some fresh sh**t there!
All these kids will eventually develop in their artistry—and mash it up with EDM and Hip Hop lol.
