Great audiobook. If you have a library card, you can get a ton of digital content just like checking out a book physically. Highly recommend!

Great collection of tunes, beginning to end. I have a bit of nostalgia for the 70's decade of pop/novelty country stuff.

And if you haven't watched the documentary, from beginning to end yet, you absolutely need to. It is fantastic.

I haven’t, and I missed the boat. I’m seriously considering buying it, I’ve heard nothing but good about it.

Worth every penny. I'm a huge fan of Burns' work; I've watched Baseball, The War, and Civil War multiple times each. Country Music was by far my favorite.

There's one about the Dust Bowl Years during the Great Depression as well. It was excellent.

The albums are on Spotify. Great collections and wonderful relief from the snap track CRAP they are calling "country" these days.

Being in the lucky country we get seven hours less than they do in the promised land. I’m going to track the DVD down.

I got the DVD set for cheap money a few months ago ago.
Watched the first half of the series this morning.
The only difficulty I can see with the Burns documentaries is that they give such a constant stream of great stuff that it impossible to really process all the info and photos as fast as they are coming.
It's nice to have the DVDs to replay

I’ve found it a tad superficial but you have probably nailed it for me. Too much information.

Agh - forgot to set the recorder for the Johnny Cash doco. I've been recording the Country Music doco - looking forward to watching it.

Check out the audience reaction to the line: "I killed a man just to watch him die."

PBS docuseries was brilliant; really enjoyed it and learned a lot about a genre that which I'm only a casual listener.

The best part of the Joaquin film was the concert I thought. I enjoyed the Joaquin film. But I thought they did that part really well.
