If I had the choice of that one, or any other one...let me see, ah yes, give me any other one.
Don't know the guy but the guitar looks great. Although i would wonder if it would hurt to accidentally hit those edges with your hands while playing.
During his show this past September he played this.
Could have sworn I spotted "Squier" on the headstock...
Keith Urban is famous country-pop/rock artist here in the US (but he's from Australia)..he's a great musician, check out some of his live performances on youtube if you got a chance
And you're damn right:
Wow! I bet Kanye would be willing to trade his glasses for that guitar!
I don't see any mirror pic teles?
We're all arguing about the tonal advantages of nitro vs. poly, and he goes a glues a big hunk of glass to the top of his guitar.
WOW is right...that is an amazing piece of work and that BIRDSEYE NECK...never, ever have I seen a piece like that...anyone want to guess the cost on that KU tele ? Got be worth $50K...really nice...ok, time for Bill Crook to top this one for Brad....
Thanks for the link, great stuff.
Any idea of the price tag on the Mirrored Ball arrghh Tele ?
seems overkill on that video to have 3 electrics and 1 acoustic playing at the same time. maybe it is me.
Mr. Urban is overkill----period !!
This CMT Blogger says it cost $100,000:
With this guitar, you need this kind of drum.
I played that guitar prior to it going to him. My guitar tech set up the guitar after the LEDs and circuitry were installed. As I recall, it was a Squier. It was fun playing around with the LED lighting schemes.
If Liberace had played a Tele - I'll bet that's what it would've looked like.
quote of the year
=) so true so true.....
imagine the intonation of different types of metals glued to the top, or maybe even partly apart of the guitar..... im thinking of the reverberation of those Tibetan music bowls..........wow! my imagination is getting way ahead..... maybe when i got 100 000 to spend on a guitar....
Ugh! Too Paul Stanley-esque for me?
The neck is very nice though!
