ignore the comments kg. Good parts build.
I just finished a Sienna s/b and like it so much I don't think I'll sell it to a guy who will give me $800 AUD ( USD $1030). Just enjoy your guitar! Cheers!!!

Thanks! No I didnt. I know the 40th tele has one but I figured Keith put a different pickguard on it when he added the middle pickup at one time. I don't know that for a fact, I just assumed.

I dont. I've actually never seen another on any guitar other than the 40th.

This is epic. HUGE KU fan. Only thing is IMO, the guard should be more of a cream, but you have a 40th, so you know, ya lucky... great looking build.

Thanks! Yeah I agree, when I ordered the pickguard it looked more cream in the pictures. I was disappointed when it came in but I figured it would do for now. I may try to find a different one at some point soon. I still need to put the other saddles on too, but I'll wait until it needs its first string change before I do that

Awesome looking build! If it sounds half as great as it looks, you have created a monster

I finally recorded a little 2 minute video so you can see how it sounds. My phone ran out of storage space at a bit after the 2 minute mark so it cut off, but it's better than nothing I suppose. Keep in mind that I'm a relatively new player and still learning, so ignore the mistakes. I hope this video does the guitar justice, it may not sound that great having been recorded on my phone. I had to back to the beginning to see what you had in there for a pup bc it sounds so nice, and to my suprise it happens to be what is in the mail for me! If you ever get anymore videos recorded please put them up or send them to me :p
Would be curious to hear a comparison of your 40th to this.

The video doesn't do it justice, it sounds better in person. You have a great pickup on the way! I played through a Dr. Z Maz 8 watt amp. I played clean with a bit of reverb at the start of the video (first part of Liza Jane solo) and then kicked in some delay towards the middle. Towards the end when I started a bit of improv I think I kicked in the Brent Mason Hot Wired pedal for a little overdrive. Might should have used some slapback delay and my compressor for the first part of the video but oh well!
