It seems to be a thing among the younger generation.

Yup, just yesterday I saw Ace Frehley, in panty hose mind you, standing on a piano seat pretending to be a 12 year old trick or treater.

Well the Beatles replaced Paul with a double. Why not the Stones?

Anybody that can look like Keith Richards and still be alive would be more of an anomaly than Keith.

I have always looked at photos of him from the 60's and thought "That can't be Keith Richards, it doesn't look anything like him."

    Someone fill me in:

Where did all the original people go?

Wonder who I might bump into in a bar in, say... Venezuela ??

Celeb dopplers are weird and cheats .People do believe them .My daughter worked at a local Karting centre in the evenings part time while at college and one day they had a celeb event .A well known F1 driver turned up , Jackie Oliver , and also "Mika Hakkinen ".Now my daughter knew Hakkinen from F1 tests at Silverstone and he knew her .Silverstone used to have F1 testing every few weeks back then and she was my "photographic "assistant .At sweet sixteen she could charm the paddock in the nicest possible way .
People were getting carried away by this "Hakkinen" who signed autographs ,kissed the ladies ,posed for photos etc .Sally was amazed as he didnt look much like the real guy and told her fellow workmate quietly that he was not even a good likeness of Mika.No-one believed her !!.They all thought it was Mika in his Mclaren race suit .She was gobsmacked but she learned people believe what they want to believe not the reality .No doubt some people ,kids and their mums , still cherish the day they met Mika Hakkinen.
Everyone ignored Jackie, the real driver but Sally knew who he was and phoned me to come along ..I got him to sign a my Lotus 49 book and a photo which really pleased me .I walked past "Mika " and slapped him on the back ."not racing a Kart tonight then Mika ?"
The real one would have been in a kart in two seconds and beaten everyone in the building .instead Jackie Oliver did by a mile .Sally said he made all the local karting hot shots looked like Penelope Pitstop .

Jackie walked away from this one
