Fantastic player and seems to be a pretty cool educator to a certain extent. I wish he would tone down his wardrobe, but I guess you have to make yourself visually stand out somehow.

I quite enjoy his channel. I get his general artist vibe, and man can that guy play.

That shovel video was the first thing I ever saw of him, but you just knew he'd really tear it up with an actual guitar. The guy's amazing. I'm a fledgling fingerpicker and not even a fledgling slide player. I'd need another guitar to keep in those tunings. Maybe I should just go down to the hardware store and find a shovel or a rake...

He's fantastic at whatever he picks up to play. His fingerpicking skills are incredible.

That reminds me of the time an elephant saw a naked man and said “that’s cute but can you pick up any peanuts with it?”

Justin Johnson is a super nice guy that can play virtually anything with strings attached. Living in the Nashville surrounds and traveling the world to play. I've been fortunate to see him and his gorgeous spouse a couple of times at guitar shows where he often has a booth to sell his CD's and his custom ceramic Guitar Slides.
His signature is as artistic and unique as his dress and instrument choices which at one show included an ironing board made into a steel guitar.

I got him to sign one of my Tele Guitar body replicas.

The pickguard on this one also has my rarest autograph. That of
    "Sugarman" Rodriguez

My wife, the bass player's favorite artist on YT for quite awhile. She is getting inspired to get back into guitar because of him. I would not be surprised if a cigarbox guitar came out of the UPS truck in the near future.

    Or even a shovel guitar.
