Dang. That's what ALWAYS happens! Was one of them Will Smith?
They were probably just trying to save the service from shaming themselves with news getting out of expensively trained pilots who can’t tell the difference between the IR signature of a distant twin engine jet and a carrot cake.
I'm aware this sort of thing is borderline verboten here, at least if you seriously consider it, but -
The ET hypothesis is prevalent in this discussion, if not dominant. Yet there are serious scientists, with strong credentials, that think this phenomena may be extra-dimensional. While still not entirely commonplace, the concept of other dimensions *is* taken quite seriously by many physicists, as well as other scientists. So maybe there's something there.
There are more things in Heaven and Earth, as the line from Hamlet goes. There's so much we still don't understand. I'm keeping an open mind.
Amen. Getting sighted by one of us, after such a trip, I mean, c'mon. Folks really don't understand that distance- we really can't fathom it, I think.
It's interesting that some posters in this thread simply poke fun at the possibility of UFO's from another planet or dimension while others are convinced, based on their knowledge of current earthly technology, that the concept is impossible.
To rule out any of this phenomena just because we haven't personally seen it or understand it would be like filling a bucket with sea water and then declaring that there are no fish in the ocean because your bucket contained only water.
If you were able to somehow tell ANY person in 1869 that we would land humans on the moon 100 years later, they'd think you were nuts. That's ONLY 100 years. What could be achieved in 1000 years? 10,000 years?
There are so many possible explanations for what humans have observed that appears to be unexplainable and sometimes not of this world, but to discount the possibility of interplanetary travel based on the distance is, to me, short sighted. Do you think we've figured out everything in physics?
I, personally, lean toward the multiverse theories.
If only someone else had been there with you... ( )
Human's landing on the Moon,,, that one still makes me laugh hard
So, is it easier to pop into this reality from an alternative universe than it is ti cross thousands of light years?
Wait - don't answer that!
Serious scientists see it as a working hypothesis...
The math and physics involved may be the same though. This means you could travel halfway across th he galaxy or end up in a reality where your first officer has a beard.
Yeah very funny!!! If you had been present when this bloke was telling his story you would have believed him along with everyone else present. This chap had put his life on the line a few years before in WW2 and was quite a serious and sensible hard working bloke who had no reason to B.S. to anyone, and the civilian security detail just confirms to me that many governments are in collusion with each other in the cover up of these types of incidents. I saw a video by an American pilot who was involved in developing a high altitude supersonic aircraft who called in a sighting of several UFO's well above his position who seemed to be tracking his flight. His superior's advice to the pilot who was still is sight of them, said they were most likely high flying ducks or geese.
The pilot's reply was..............."At 35,000 plus feet????"
Personally, you don’t know diddily. No one does when it comes to this. I just said that if you can traverse such distances, no matter how you did it, it’s unlikely you’ll be spotted by the primates three rocks out from the normal yellow phase star.
Anyone on here read Greg Bear's 'Eon'?
I prefer not to go the 4th dimension and multiverse discussions.
We have billions and billions of galaxies of our own to discover.
Oh yea, under the sea too.
Is it easier to accept either of those theories than the theory that the universe spontaneously expanded from a mass the size of a this . ?
The assumption that its "unlikely" is just that...your assumption.
To quote you, "you don't know diddly."
You may note, I already stated no one knows diddily, right after my initial sentence. So, there’s that. I’m standing by all the rest, as well.
Just wondering, why do all UFO seems to appear at the USA? You don't see much about this on other countries...
You think they need to meet with us? They’ve mastered inter-stellar travel, but they need to make personal stops in Florida trailer parks to learn...to learn....what would they need to learn, even?
